Is it right or wrong for you to lie on a government form?

 

right a government form could get you killed, give half-truths, make it less easy, c.f McCarthyism

right government doesn't have to know everything

right the less the government knows about you the safer you are from unlawful and immoral attacks on your lifestyle.

right if they knew it was wrong i would be fucked.

right the government doesn't need to know everything about me

right they haven't earned the truth.

right it's not like I can expect the government to be honest with me in return

right governments deceive and lie to people. Unless lying on a government form causes some direct harm to another person, it's okay.

right governments steal (tax) and lie to hurt/damage your property... it's not wrong to lie to a criminal

right in some cases it might be legit.

right the government sets its realtionship to me via violent coercion, not reason, so I am not obligated to be honest with it.

wrong it spreads false information

right most of the time they are asking for info they should have. How many times have you had to give an address on something posted to you?!
