Is it right or wrong for you to download copyrighted music?

 

right I'm supposed to say whether I would do it, and I would. Maybe if I heard some musicians without million-dollar deals saying they don't want me to I'll stop, but most of the musicians I know do it. Some musicians encourage it in their music.

right Im sorry, is there any other way to get music??

right Music should be shared, not sold!

wrong I am boycotting copyright. It is wrong for me to listen to anything that is copyrighted but not copylefted (regardless of how I obtained it). However, I wholly support others who are not boycotting copyright yet in their practice of their fair use rights.

right almost none of the money really goes to artist

right For me, it's a way of trying the music out before I go out and buy it.

right I give information freely and take information freely, it's too much work filtering it based on artificial rules

right You cannot own sounds or a bunch of them together, it is just another scam so people can take your hard earned money.

right who cares, the old model is dead, distribute and leech at will.

right I support artists in other ways, if I bought the albums, I often would be unable to attend the shows (this assumes illegally downloading)

wrong it is illegal, but it is a very small wrong. Less serious than almost anything I can think of right now.
