Is it right or wrong for you to declaw your cat?

 

wrong the claws are part of the cat, and the cat's life will be less fun without them.

wrong they need their claws for balance, grip, and possible self-defense, so there must be a REALLY good reason to do so.

wrong People should not deprive an animal of its primary source of defense for the sake onof domesticati. However, my wife and I agreed to have the humiliating procedure performed on our Russian Blue to "protect the furniture", and I have always regretted it.

wrong it's the equivalent of cutting off the ends of your fingers and toes. Claws are not like fingernails. They're important parts of the cat's paws.

right cats are vermin that destroy people's lives. Declawing them will allow you to maintain decent furniture.

wrong modifying another lifeform's natural state should have a more important reason than preserving some cloth
