Is it right or wrong for you to lie?

 

right I lie. Everybody lies.

right lying helps people develope a good, healthy sense of distrust. People are too trusting these days---these naive people need to be taught a lesson. The only situation in which I would not lie is under oath.

right it's wrong, but often necessary

right because there will be a reason

right it is justified if it causes no harm and helps others

right if its just a little lie

right it depends on the context. Santa Claus is a lie but it is accepted as a good one.

wrong Unless there is a very good reason for it it usually causes more problems then it solves.

right in some cases it can be good for all parties

right it prevents painful truths from being known

right some situations require tact and diplomacy more than truth. Not always right, but sometimes.

right Sometimes the truth is not the best choice, and it doesn't hurt to add a little twist on reality.

right You should lie when you sleep. Sleeping while standing is nearly impossible.

right the truth may hurt and cause nothing but pain.

right Truth is often too much to bear, or discomforting.

wrong it takes more work than being truthful and distorts the reality others perceive
