Is it right or wrong for you to respect authority?

 

right If it has earned it

right only if they deserve it.

wrong in time, all authority devolves into oligarchy

right authority is what sets your life in order, and as much as you may hate some things they, they've still stopped society from chaos

right You will keep the authority nice and smug while, if illegitimate, you subvert it.

right people in authority usually got there for a reason... respect them because they either know more than you or are sneakier bastards than you. However, see also: question authority

wrong Authority is an aspect of coercive society, and by respect it, you help violate consent.

right the authority earned naturally through actual abilities should be verified, and respected; but you must verify it because most authority is false, either invested by law, men, or merely a counterfeit claim
