Is it right or wrong for you to be a translator and intentionally translate stuff wrong for fun or profit?

edit Wikipedia to put up some wrong info for fun ?

intentionally mislead others ?

share profit or surplus ?

engage in activities that do not generate profit nor product ?

right that's the only good reason to be a translator.

right As long as you can live with yourself.

wrong It is fraud. It is slimey. only the lowest sort of scumbags do this sort of thing. and it is incredibly illegal.

wrong not for fun - translators are paid for their work, and they should do what they're paid for, not for having fun. I can hardly imagine a situation when deliberate mistranslating could bring any profit, btw
