Is it right or wrong for you to blast music so loud neighbors can hear?

 

right As long as it's part of a specific denial-of-silence plan and not just me being inconsiderate

wrong it would be so loud in my house.

wrong i'll wake you up at 3 am every day for a week...the first time.

right your neighbors always need something to complain about.

wrong it's immoral to impose your musical taste (or lack of it) on someone else. Just like free speech: you have the right to your opinion, but you do not have the right to force me to listen to it.

right chances are they've done it themselves anyway. Just don't do it at night, or if they have a baby.

right as long has you have secured their consent.

wrong they might counter and blast pop country at you... or maybe advertising jingles

right they have no hi-fi, and you need to learn to share

wrong you have to live with your neighbors so it is better to leave them alone

wrong I don't want to hear the neighbor's music unless they are playing music I like, which is unlikely and I'm pretty sure my neighbors don't like my music, either.

right it advertises virility and reminds them that behind these closed walls are emotional humans; isolation leads to contempt for diversity

wrong depends on whether the neighbors don't want to hear it. But if they don't, then you should turn it down.

wrong it's an invasion of privacy, it distracts me from my thoughts, it lowers my quality of life.
