Is it right or wrong for you to donate money to charities?

 

right only if we work together can we change the world.

right you can donate money to any one you like

wrong you're essentially buying a clear conscience without having to do anything. Besides, many charities can actually make situations worse.

wrong to me, giving money to charities is like buying things on credit. The money would be more effective if you saved it up, and used it directly. But who has time for that? Charities are a proxy business.

right its always good to help the less fortunate people

right It helps those in need. It depends on the charity, however. If they foster dependence or keep most of the money for themselves, it might be wrong to donate to them and right to donate to a different charity.

right generosity is an important virtue.

wrong sometimes they use them to feed poor people.

wrong if you analyze it, merely throwing money at a problem does more harm than good; instead it is better to try and actually solve the problem
