CP is illegal because its production often involves the abuse of power over a child by an adult. If this isn't the case, then there is no problem. To whoever said "laws override morality": grow up; you're a person, not a robot.

this is a health question, not a morality question, but to answer you anyway there's nothing wrong with it. Fluoride IS toxic, but not at the concentrations found in toothpaste.

It does no harm to others and arguably does no more, if not less, harm to a user than alcohol in the long term. Surely one should be able to decide whether or not that risk is acceptle, rather than some sort of state-imposed "morality"?
